Everything About Traffic Exchange Engines
Surfing Traffic exchange engines is one of my favorite internet marketing method to drive traffic to my website and blog every day. Like any other method surfing for credits had its own advantages and disadvantages. This article will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of traffic exchange engines.
Advantages:
1. Traffic exchanges are free to join, meaning, everyone can use them without thinking on their budget. All traffic exchanges have the upgrade option, if you can afford it, it is much recommended. The upgrade option will earn you more credits per page you surf and extra bonuses.
This means traffic exchanges are also free to use. When you register, you add the link you want to promote and then you start clicking, the worth of one page view is changing from one engine to another and varies from 0.3 credit to one credit or more.
2. Traffic exchanges are very easy to use. The first step is to register, then you add your links to promote to others. Now you start clicking and surfing for credits. After each click, wait for the timer to go off and then click again.
3. Earn bonuses, and more bonuses. Each traffic exchange engine has its own way to give more to those who surf it. You need to pay extra careful when surfing and look for the extra bonuses that come up every few pages.
4. The more website you surf the more exposure you get. More clicks means more credits, there are also bonuses to those who surf more. After earning your credits, go to your member area and assign them to your links, to make you links available for others to see.
5. Surfing for credits on traffic exchanges is the best method to use when you are lacking the inspiration or motivation to do any internet marketing work. Open a few traffic engines in tabs and surf them simultaneously while watching TV, sitting with your legs up, and relaxing.
6. It doesn’t take long to surf 50 or 100 pages; it takes about 30 minutes to one hour. If you surf 5 or more websites simultaneously on different tabs, you can earn enough credits to promote your website that day.
7. You can earn extra credits by referring new members to the traffic exchange. Some engines will reword you with credits when referring a new member and you also earn credits when your downline is surfing for credits, this way you earn credits the passive way.
Disadvantages:
1. The conversion rates of traffic exchange engines is very small, you need to test your results and change your promotions to get better results with time.
2. It is better to use traffic exchange engines to build your list and send prospects to your sign up form to your newsletter by showing a squeeze page on the traffic exchange. You will get best results if your promote a squeeze page and not an affiliate link or a link to selling products.
3. Like many other programs traffic exchanges are free for the basic suite. For better results it is best to upgrade your account and earn more credits and more exposure.
An upgraded account is offering more links in the rotation, more banners and text links in the rotations, more credits per click, and more higher value to the bonuses earned.
4. Many people make money online using only traffic exchanges, however, if this is not your main marketing method, you should use other marketing methods too, and limit the time you spend surfing for credits.
5. Like you many other internet marketers are using traffic exchanges to build their lists and promote affiliate links. You may found some very good offers while surfing the engines, but you must beware and stay focused, or you will find yourself joining too many newsletters with no information, and too many affiliate programs, that you need to promote too.
Staying focused will help you surfing for one purpose, earning credits to promote your own links.
Surfing for credits is a free, fun and easy way to advertise and promote your website and links.

3 Ways to Increase Website Traffic
How do you increase website traffic? It is every webmaster’s goal to increase website traffic. Yo must increase website traffic if you want more sales. Beginning webmasters often make the mistake of creating a website and just waiting on visitors. There is so much more to getting visitors than sitting back and waiting. Here are a few ways to increase website traffic that cost little money or are free.
The first secret to increase website traffic is good old Search Engine Optimization. If search engines can’t find your site, then you won’t get visitors or sales. As a rule internet searchers look at the top 20-30 results. Some may look at past number 30 results but you the higher your ranking the better for your site. Most website traffic should come from organic or natural search engine traffic. Visitors from search engines make the better customer and more likely be interested in your products. Type in the keywords for your site .Is your site showing up in the top 30? If not choose different keywords with less competition. Do your homework on meta tags and web site design.
Write articles. Writing articles is the best way to increase website traffic. It is free and not as difficult as you think. You aren’t required to have an English degree or be a professional writer. All you need is a basic knowledge of spelling and grammar. What is the recommended word length? . You don’t want too long of an article full of fluff that may not get read. You also don’t want too short of an article that is vague. A good article is 200-500 words. It gives the information the readers want without being full of fluff. You can include in the resource box links to your website or blog Read article directory submission guidelines before submitting your article.
A paid to read campaign is a low cost way to increase website traffic. Paid to read programs or PTR, pay members to read emails and view ads for money. The only drawback to PTR is traffic may not be targeted but you never know who may be interested. For a few dollars, you can send email to members or exchange earnings you make from the site for advertising. Find a PTC site with a huge member database. The number of members is usually shown on the front page.
It isn’t always easy to increase website traffic. You must be patient and try different methods. Sometimes free methods work and sometimes you have to spend a little money. A million visitors won’t happen overnight.

Latent Semantic Indexing | SEO Traffic Spider
To put in a layman’s terms, latent semantic indexing (LSI) is a technique of indexing— analyzing, listing or categorizing certain keywords or phrases in the contents of various websites, books or documents in such a way that they have contextually and conceptually the same or related intent and meaning despite the different words used in them.
The technique used in latent semantic indexing aims at finding the keywords in the text that carry a latent relationship in structure and usage. The idea behind the concept of LSI is to collect data that is conceptually akin in meaning and context to the search queries entered by the searchers in the search engines. The search results may, therefore not share the specific words or phrases entered by the searcher.
For example, if you use the word ‘Saddam Hussein’, the search engine may return articles about the Gulf War, situation in Kuwait or Iran, the elite force of the Iraqi despot, UN sanctions, oil fields in Iraq and much more without even mentioning the search word ‘Saddam Hussein’.
The technique of LSI automates the process of categorizing the documents almost the way the human beings do. The text selected may not have the same words or sentences. The results returned may have lists, free notes, web content or even emails.
Advantages of latent semantic indexing
Sometimes the web searcher is conscious that he is not using the right keywords or phrases due to the lack of knowledge of appropriate vocabulary. He, therefore, uses only approximate words which may not return the desired information if the search process follows the Boolean pattern. Latent semantic index technique facilitates the retrieval of the related conceptual content even if the search queries do not use the ‘correct’ words.
Latent or true information
LSI technique returns information in its true conceptual representation, which is not easily possible through the traditional search approach. It uses synonymy that can bring forth the underlying concept even if the searcher uses different words or phrases. The traditional retrieval process does not always discover the right content on the same topic that uses different vocabulary.
Polysemy
A large number of words have multiple meanings. So, if a searcher uses numerous polysemous words, they may reduce the chances of getting the precise information. LSI helps to weed out the unnecessary words from the data and tries to arrive at the average meaning, which is close to the real meaning of the search queries.
Sifting close and distant words
LSI examines the contents of the different websites or documents and tries to find out which of these contain semantically common words, similar words, closer words or distant words. This is almost working like a human being. Although LSI does not understand the meanings of the words, its algorithm does notice the word patterns and indexes them accordingly. This process proves the astonishing intelligence of the LSI technique.
How should one use latent semantic indexing?
Latent semantic indexing is a very useful tool for search engine optimization of your website or copywriting. You should, therefore, use the keywords and phrases very carefully. For example, if you are using the keyword or phrase ‘buy jaguar’ you should explain what the word ‘jaguar’ stands for since it is a polysemous word. It may mean a cat, a car or an aircraft. It may also be a brand name of some sanitary product. Using the word ‘jaguar’ in isolation may confuse the LSI tool. You should, therefore, clarify what your ‘jaguar’ stands for. Otherwise, you will defeat the very purpose of launching your website.
You should also be careful in the use of synonyms so that they convey the meaning that you exactly want to communicate. Synonyms are very helpful in clarifying the meanings of the words. But stuffing keywords for making the site SEO compliant may also defeat the purpose and your site may be blacklisted for spamming.
What happens if one does not use latent semantic indexing?
The search engine spiders or the software is making a paradigm shift in selecting the sites for front-page ranking. Google and many other search engines use LSI to determine the relevancy of your keywords and phrases in context of the subject matter of the site’s content. If you do not use the keywords and phrases judiciously, you may not be able to optimize your site for high ranking. Not using the synonyms or theme related words may not help the LSI tool to identify your site’s relevance to the search queries. If your website is about barbeques, you should use words such as grill, patio, sauce, charcoal, recipe, etc which are related to the main keyword. If you do not use LSI, your site is doomed to stay unnoticed.

7 Ways to Generate Targeted Traffic to Your Site
Imagine having a business in the middle of the desert. You won’t make many sales will you? That’s what a website with no traffic or visitors is like. But it’s not just traffic that brings you sales, you need to generate targeted traffic.
Here’s 7 techniques for getting targeted traffic to your site:
1) Article Directories:
Write 300-700 word articles related to your sites traffic and post them to article directory sites. If this sounds like a lot of work you can outsource it through sites like scriptlance.com, elance.com and others.
You can post a job that you need to get done and qualified professionals from around the world will compete for your business. Many times you can get jobs done for nearly nothing. I have someone that writes articles for me for around $5 to $8 an article depending on the length. Once completed, she sends me the articles where I then just copy and paste them into the article directories.
However, I’ll bet that if you tried to, you could easily write an article about your product or service. It’s not that hard… and once you start you’ll find that a few hundred words is not that long.
2) Blogging:
Set up a blog or blogs on free blog hosting sites and post summaries of your articles on them with links back to your main site. The best blogging program is definitely WordPress, but Joomla and Blogger also offer free blogs.
Blogs are simple to set up and you can customize your templates to change the look of your blog.
Search engines absolutely love blogs because blogs are full of fresh content. And the reward for this many times is high rankings at search engines like google, yahoo and msn. You can also post comments on others blogs, but don’t spam! Post legitimate comments and include your website link in your signature.
3) PPC search engines:
I have always used pay-per-click at sites like Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN Adcenter as one of my main marketing techniques. What I like about PPC is the you get immediate traffic. You simply decide on the top keywords that match your topic and drive traffic to your site with the PPC engines with these keywords.
Now definitely there is much more to it than that, but what I am getting across here is that you get targeted traffic FAST!. However, I highly advise that you research ppc marketing before jumping in. It can be very rewarding… but on the flip side, it can be very costly as well.
4) Social Networking Sites:
Setup accounts at places like facebook, myspace, squidoo, twitter and others. Become part of the community and above all… BE REAL! Remember, at social media sites you don’t want to spam or come across as a marketer. Create relationships and be an asset to the site and its members.
5) Press Releases:
This is a great way to get traffic to your site that you would never get otherwise. Create a curiousity building press releases and submit them on a regular basis through the press distribution networks such as PRWeb, PRLeap, WebWire and others.
They should be 400 to 500 words in length and submit at least a couple of press releases per month. Insert points and facts and don’t make them promotional. Also, be sure to include a call to action somewhere in your release.
6) Forums and Groups:
Join forums and groups related to your target market. Become a part of them. Ask questions, answer questions and be an asset to the site. Do NOT market to the people in the forums but you can create a compelling signature to include a link to your site or product which will be entered at the bottom of all your posts.
7) Q & A sites:
Have a friend or two post questions about your niche to sites like yahoo answers, and answer the questions. The questions need to be legitimate or you’ll be seen as a huckster.
Trying to use all seven ways to get targeted traffic to your site may be overwhelming… but you could just try and focus on mastering just one of the above techniques. And when you get good at that technique, then you could incorporate one of the other techniques as well.
